Celebrity Constellation Cruise Ship.

Celebrity's Constellation, launched in May, is the last in the line's Millennium series. Largely identical, save for cosmetic distinctions, Constellation falls right in line with its Millennium, Infinity and Summit siblings: all glass elevators, a two story library along with a double decker CD music nook, a spa themed thalassotherapy pool (and healthy dining eatery) and Ocean Liners, its maritime tradition themed alternative restaurant are among the more innovative features.

Constellation is clearly aiming to attract the more contemporary and sophisticated cruise passenger. It shows, in everything from entertainment, to design of elegant public areas like the Cova Cafe Milano (and the harpist who plays in the afternoons), to its Connect@Sea Program, which provides in-cabin Internet access ($25 a day or $100 for unlimited use). And of course there's Celebrity's much-ballyhooed contemporary art collection which is mostly quite pleasing, somewhat stimulating but never offending.
